Hope Deferred
What happens to hope deferred?
Does it rust
Like an old bicycle left in the rain?
Or crack
Like a glass dropped ?
Does it whine
Like a broken record?
Or collect dust
Like a forgotten toy?
Maybe it sits there
Waiting to be picked up
Or does it just fade away?
