Black
Black is night
A starless night
Shadows on abandoned roads
And loneliness
Black is sleeping alone without light
Whispers echoing down the hall
And dark alley ways
Black is thunderstorms
Dark puddles of cold
Untouched water, like a sea of glass
And a dark cloak on a figure hidden by shadows
Black is fear
The fear of betrayal
Lost hope
And dreams deferred
Black is nightmares of war
A war fought long ago
Bloody battles in lone forests
And the color of the forgotten
Black is a color
The color of the frighten
The color of the beaten
The color or the scorned
Black is terror
The plot of the wicked
The screams of children
The flag of death
Black
